[SEL] Parallel Universe?

I think I did the same thing!  Went out and bought a new air filter for the lawn mower, taking the old one along to make sure the new one was identical.  

Got the last one in stock.

Came home and threw the old filter into the garbage can then set the can at the curb.

About an hour after the garbage had been picked up, I discovered that I'd also thrown the new filter away.  It was in the bag with the old filter!

DRAT!
