The spelling here is not correct. I did a Google check and found out that this is a common mistake. The first name is Mietz, pronounced Meets. The second name Weiss, in original German, would be pronounced Vice, as in gripping device. It may well have been Anglicised to Wice. Just a bit of trivia! Eric
