[SEL] Rusty Iron Rally 2008 report

Hi all

Well, I spent the day at Macksville at the Rusty Iron Rally and YES I was 
flamed for not taking an engine, that's life.!! ;-))
It poured rain yesterday, Friday, and today, Saturday, was fine but the 
place was a bog.
Numbers were down but may pickup tomorrow if it stays fine. A good turnout 
of tractors, 2 nice steam traction engines, stationary steam also, vintage 
cars and bikes and engines.
The track into the car park had been chewed up by trucks and 4x4's and 
getting my lowered V8 out was a struggle, the front spoiler acted like a 
grader blade and when I got home the was 4Kgs of mud stuck there.
Met up with Patrick, Ron, Liz, Cam & Edd and did not see Al and his son 
Glen. I think Brad is going Sunday. It was still a good day and I bought a 
few tools seeing Sunday is Father's Day here in Oz.

I am uploading images from today but it will take about an hour, there are 
158 photos

I will show next year, I promise ;-))
