Some years ago a list member requested help from the SEL Olde Iron Express

get an engine moved across most of the country.  It finally (after MANY
legs)
ended up at Coolspring where engine and new owner came together.

The REALLY cool thing was that some of the players did up a US map with each
leg
of the engine's travels in a different color.  That was given as a pressie
to
the new owner.

Does anyone remember who it was that got that engine?  And for extra credit,
what was the engine?  Does anyone have a pic of the "final presentation" of
map
and engine to the new owner?

I'm thinking that it might have been Luke Tonnebeger who was the new owner?
ISTR it took the better part of a year to complete it's journey.  Neat
stuff.
