George, you were absolutely right - the weather for the show was FABULOUS. A tiny cloud crossed the sun at midday today and everyone on the showground looked up to see why it had gone dark!!!
The engines on display were amazing. The actual area is quite small, but it's CRAMMED with incredibly rare, mostly European engines.
Exhibitors were there from UK, Holland, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Germany and Hungary.
We also met up with Ria Hammink, John's widow, who asked to be remembered to you all. It was lovely to see her and to know that John's hobby is still important to her.
Go to go - the restaurant is calling, and Arnie gets ugly if he's late at the trough.
