Tom...We had a neighbor that had a 1948 Plymouth jacked up on 1 rear wheel with a belt over the rear tire that ran to a regular belt driven saw. He heated and cooked with wood so that old Plymouth worked pretty regular. Wish I had taken a picture of it.  When I was a kid my Dad did the same thing with an old war surplus jeep. We only used the wood for cooking though so didn't have to buzz as much wood.
