Skip....I have many Pommy friends ,all of whom I have called you ''Old Pommy 
Bastard''.Any Englishman who has resided in Australia knows full well that 
in just about all cases this is a term of endearment and is not meant a to 
be derogatory.....please dont ask me to repeat what we call them when we 
want to be derogatory!
Seriously ...we like our Englishmen and it is a great thing when we defeat 
them on the sporting field, pity the Yanks[term of endearment] dont play 
Rugby or Cricket and we could dish out the same treatment!
