The answer to your question is: "I'd kick myself for not ordering it from McMaster!".
If the outfit that said it would be four to six weeks was the only one with the item, I'd be stuck. But, if they were just being lazy and I could get it elsewhere, even at a slightly higher price, I'd do it just to stick it to 'em a little.
