I just bought this montgomery Wards 11/2 hp engine on ebay, (Buy it now, 
$100!!!) Who made this thing??
Hopefully i can get it shipped at a decent price now...

Nelson Brothers , and that is the later , improved style with the underslung 
governor .
( I'm not really sure what they improved though , but  the governor cant 
fall into the crank anymore !!  )
 Looks like you got your money's worth.  If he'll take 100 for the IHC on a 
factory skid
 that's sitting right behind it , you can call it a day .
