[SEL] Crankshaft extending

George,
    Did they cut it off so that the flywheel won't fit back on the 
shaft?  If not, is there a reason you want it longer (to mount a 
pulley?).  The reason I ask is that many engine builders didn't extend 
the c/s much beyond the hubs.
