I got a 1 inch belt for my lathe form a vender at an engine show. It might 
have been Lee Pederson.

I would think that someone into small steam engines would find that an nice 
source of compressed air.

I also picked up a Speed Lathe from a guy that refurbished dental drill set 
ups when they were cable driven. He might be a source of information.
