Hiya Folks,

Well, it's my turn to ask that caveat-loaded question.

This grass cutting season I decided it was time to treat my wife to a new
grass cutting machine.  She's getting a Cub Cadet "zero turn radius"
tractor which will be a LOT easier for her given the number of trees she
has to cut around.  Am I a peach or what?  8-))

This now puts me in the position of needing to get rid of the "surplus"
tractor.  And as a part of doing that I'd like to get a feel for what it's
worth.  Oddly enough, at various shows I've seen guys displaying restored
ones so I know that there are SOME out there who would regard it as a
"collectable" and not as simply a yard tool.

What I have is a 1981 International Cub Cadet 782 Tractor with a Kohler
Model KT17S 2 cyl 17 hp engine.  It's a good strong runner and has a
hydrostatic transmission, an electric front PTO, and a hydraulic lift for
the mower deck or plow.  It has new rubber on all four wheels, new wheel
weights & chains, and a new battery.  The two accessories are an
International Model 50C 3-Spindle Mower Deck and an International Snow

Any info that anyone can provide on what's a reasonable asking price would
be greatly appreciated.
