Hi Skip,
Thats so true. If the patent office has nothing on file like it they will
likely get a patent. Many times things get invented and built just for ones
own use or for use in their shop or business and thats likely what grandpas
was. And folks just simply never do anything other then use them. There was
a need it was figured out how to satisify the need and that was the end of
that. So many years later someone has the initiative to patent it as their
idea when they do the same. And truely they may very well have figured
their version out themselves without ever knowing someone else already did
it. This happens so many times.
Patents are funny things. You can have an Iron clad patent but if you do
not have the money to defend or enforce it then its not worth a darn.
Their ad says
