Hi Guys,
I thought you'd like to see this.
One of our older collectors was selling his stuff off so I put a
page and pics on my webpage so that interested people could have a look and
mailed the address to my list of "local collectors". This was about a month
ago.
I got the following eMail today:

Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell?
Check out new cars at Yahoo! Autos.

I think the Yahoo address is the biggest giveaway! I think I'll
play along with this one and have some fun (don't worry, I'm not stupid).
Maybe I should get myself a bunch of Yahoo addresses and flood his
mailbox with offers of vintage tractors and engines from across the world
(all fictitious of course).
I've answered him asking for details of his "company" and a copy
of the company registration as well as a copy of his Identification
Document and how he proposes to pay - just to get the thing going.
Why would someone want to fly himself and his chief engineer
halfway across Africa from Nigeria (I have no doubt that he is nowhere near
Nigeria) to inspect (and buy) a few "common" vintage engines whose total
value would be a fraction of the price of air tickets? I'm also pretty sure
that he does not have a clue as to what these engines are or what they were
used for.
Keep the revs up (or down)
