Actually, no.  8-))

A number of them certainly were guys; Evan & Harvey Evans, Pryor & J.P.
Berry, George Spang, Thomas W. Phillips, James and E. Brooks Wise, for
example.  OTOH, The Etna Machine Works was named for its location on Etna
Street in Butler.

I think Dave probably had the right idea.  8->>
