I think (think) there are still a few buildings in Downtown Pittsburgh
that use
a central boiler system for heat.  Although I've worked in construction
in Downtown
Pittsburgh and have used several underground tunnels that connect
different buildings, 
I've never seen the boiler plant that supplies this steam.
