Hi Peter
I can tell you that Thompson which became TRW Corp has been broken up and
sold off to other companies.  There is neither Thompson nor TRW any longer.
I suspect these valves were produced at the old Bell California plant (also
long gone) for Thompson products. You might look online for a history of
American Corporations for further information; www.Hoovers.com or
www.onesource.com might get you started. Sorry not to be of more help.
