Hi Joe,

McMaster-Carr carries a ton of cable and sells it by the foot.  The
multi-strand construction (7x9 for example) is really flexible.  They have
an excellent section on how to select cable based on what you need it to
do.  To terminate the end of the cable use a "stop sleeve."  That's also
one of the Nicopress compression sleeves.  I use a lot of those at work.
