[SEL] test...now 33...OT

I just have to add my two cents to this post. I do not feel that the law is
so much the problem as the punishment the criminals gets. The prisons are
full of inmates that are not violent and the violent inmates are paroled
early or get probation due to over crowding of the prisons with inmates that
should not be there. We need to enact stronger penalties against the
criminals. By this, have the prisoners pay for their keep and not put it on
the tax payers, take away all there rights as most inmates have more rights
than the victum. Make prison a living hell and not a country club and even
though I'm a Christian I believe that the death penalty should be reinstated
and not have someone on death row for centuries before they are executed.
Enforce the laws we have and send clear message to the criminals that prison
is not place to be and if they go make sure they never forget the rights of
the law abiding citizens of our great nation. My step-father worked for the
Ohio Department of Corrections for over thirty years and when growing up I
lived on prison grounds and saw first hand the life the inmates lived, color
televisions in their cells, buy any thing from the inmate store they wanted,
paid for their work ect. I feel this is wrong as they should only have a bed
to sleep in, a place to do their business and sixteen hours a day work,
seven days a week to pay for their crimes against humanity. Some will say
that I'm wrong but I have seen the life the inmates live and at least in
Ohio if you break the law you know you will be going to a prison that treats
you like a King and not like a criminal.

Peter, Not to be to picky but it is not the gun that is the problem.
More gun laws are a TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. Why? BECAUSE criminals don't
Obey the law in the first place. I do have one gun law that would make a
Difference though, that one would be to repeal ALL the current laws
Restricting lawful persons from having and carrying them. If ONE person
That was there had a firearm and used it the shooting would have
Stopped. BUT that is illegal.
