Hi Peter, I have found one program that lets me read DVD's on the computer.
I had been told that Power DVD 5 would allow the computer to read them.
I was searching when I thought to look at the CD's that came with my computer.
Power DVD 5 was there & it works well with an English DVD.
I don't have an American DVD to try it on.
The files on the DVD I sent to America are VOB,BUP & IFO files.
