Hi mates. Keith and Connie got me to Springfield Airport at 11:30 am Sunday.
Dropped me off and left. Thats when it all started!!

My bag was too heavy! (Stuff from Keith) so I loaded some into the red
holdall. Checked in bags and sat!!! At 5:30 the plane finally loaded and
took off for Chicago.On arrival, TOTAL chaos! The weather was rain so all
flights were stuffed re times. The flight I was booked on was cancelled.
They re-booked me for the next day after standing in a looong queue for two
hours. Teamed with another traveller and we got rooms at a Motel. Free trip
from airport. Returned to airport and handed new ticket. Ha! The flight is
cancelled!! Got re-booked on another set of flights. Delayed!!! Delayed!!
Cancelled!!! Re-booked yet again on another airline this time. Delayed!!

Finally left Chicago at 7:15 pm.Via Charlotte instead of Cincinnati.
Arrived at Asheville at 12:15 am Tues. Phoned Steve and he came and got me.
I was stuffed! Also, my pills are in my baggage. Baggage? What baggage! Yup,
they are as I write, lost!! Waiting for the airlines to find em. (The
injections came with me as hand luggage. Never had room for the pills as
well. Never expected this)

Its now just after 10 am Tues and I am in Steve's office at work. He is in
a meeting.
So thats why you aint heard from me. I have 'Airport bum' and aint happy
with that part of the trip.
