Hi Clint,
         You are telling us that this guy "touched the heart" of OVER 
147,867,706 Americans? (See:

I would guess that the majority of Americans didn't even know who the guy 
was prior to his death--and likely do not know now either. His death was, 
indeed, a tragedy--but let's not overstate what it means!
