Hi Bill,
Theres no good points gage available for setting them for sale. The ones
on Ebay are flawed.
I have the original tool and I'll set the points for free, just send
enough $$ for return postage.
And the brass nut on the bottom doesn't need a special too. Just a hammer
and a GOOD 7/8" open end wrench. Hit the nut squarely and sharply on its
face to jar the corrosion bond between the brass nut and the aluminum carb
body. Then use the wrench. You might need to clamp the carb in a vice for
the wrenching part. And theres more then just cleaning the carb inside
usually. Theres a spring a valve and a valve seat and the nut that wears
out. Usually you only need to replace the valve and spring and reface the
seat and reset the seat to proper depth.
