Anyone got a plan to put an outside entrance door in a basement??

Finally got my sister to see the light and it looks like I will be buying 
her half out of my Dad's house.

Now the problem comes in of MOVING all of Bill's 47 toys.  We currently have

an outside entrance to our basement and Bill winches his engines in and out.

  Dad's house has a terrace in the back so hopefully, we will be able to 
just dig out a spot of the terrace and install a door.

PS: Anyone interested in a brick house with 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths and a 
full basement located in Park Ridge IL??
