I believe you will need Microsoft IntelliMouse version 5 installed to
program the wheel to double click. The Control Panel folder option
determines whether single or double click of the regular mouse button
will open a program. It is not a wheel application. The
IntelliMouse program is a freebie from Microsoft so check at
Microsoft.com for downloads.
