Hi all

I attended the GEARS model engine show in Portland this last weekend;
Although I was only there for Saturday I had a great time and got to spend a
little time talking with two other list members, Orrin Iseminger and Carl
Carlson.

After reviewing my pictures I realized there were some that I neglected to
take; including Orrin's table of beautiful hot air engines. The variety and
quality of the models was outstanding!

I have put a bunch of pictures on my Webshots page; some better than others.
As you will see I was captivated by the 2 and 3 cylinder Fairbanks R models.
I have a set of these castings which are aging on the shelf, and are on the
someday list.

Thank you for posting the pictures, Dave.  They're the next best thing to
being there.  

Because I was an exhibitor and had to stay with my running engines, I didn't
get to see all that much of the show.  Your pictures let me see what I
missed.  

Here's hoping you'll bring your beautiful models next time, Dave.  Your
exquisite craftsmanship will impress all who see your masterpieces.
