[SEL] Cast Iron Repair

Have you tried soldering the crack . As long as it isn`t in an area where 
there is high heat or a lot of pressure , soldering works real good and is 
easy to do , even on cast iron .

A while back I needed to repair a crack that was about 16" long. L&S's
quote for the parts, including special taps, etc, was $800 for the parts!!!
It looks like a wonderful system when you watch the tape, but goodness,
it surely is expensive! I did a very successful brazing repair instead.
