Horse feed molasses is what I use. Buy it by the bag and add half a bag to 50 gal of water. Works fine.

Ken, how do the types of "molasses" you describe compare in terms of cost?
I'm guessing that powdered molasses as a feed suppliment would be fairly
cheap in bulk at a feed store?
