[SEL] Magneto/Battery Ignition Question

Maybe I read the question wrong.  I thought it was about the mag turning but 
not hooked to the igniter. That would mean the engine was fired by the 
battery and coil.
If it was about hooking the battery to the mag then you are absolutely 
correct.  Sorry for the misunderstanding.
