Derek,
    All tractors manufactured after sometime in the 80's have to have 
the ROPS (Roll Over Prevention System).  But, the older tractors are not 
required by law to be retrofitted although many have been.  The tractor 
manufacturers from time to time will have roll over awareness programs 
and offer specials and discounts on the installation of ROPS.
