I know that some of this old iron is getting high to buy and sometimes 
we carry a bit of cash on us (especially if you are buying 2 or 3 
engines, heading to a swap meet, etc).  Be aware that if you are stopped 
and its discovered that you have a significant amount of cash on you, it 
can be held until you prove where it came from.  Also you need to know 
that I have seen recent figures that 1 in 4 paper bills now have some 
trace of drugs on them due to the increasing drug traffic.  As a result, 
if you are lucky enough to get stopped by a patrolman with a dog and by 
chance happened to have several thousand in cash in your truck, the dog 
could possibly sniff drugs in your vehicle.  Next would come the search, 
then seizing of the cash, etc.  I don't know the circumstances behind 
the situation in this article, but perhaps the young lad was heading to 
purchase one of the expensive large gas tractors (perhaps not too but 
he'll have to prove where it came from in order to get it back):

Just a note to everyone to be aware of what could happen.  BTW, if 
you're traveling through central KY and happen to get stopped, feel free 
to have the officer call me (just tell him to call the LaRue County 
Courthouse and they can find me).  I'll verify that you are buying an 
old engine from me and are carrying a great deal of cash on you to pay 
for it.  Then, you can come to my place, we'll load up a Maytag, you can 
give me the cash and everyone's happy....
