Thanks Lyle, I'll check a couple of the local dealers. Napa stores around
Novato,Ca are pretty much "parts stores" Most of the repair facilities are
replacement specialist. The environmental regulations have pushed body
,machine ,manufacturing shops out of the area. The ones left are expensive
because the cost of doing business. Thanks Jimmy

I would think if you contacted some of the tractor dealers in your area that
they could direct you to someone with the correct boring mill to do the work
for you. Just thought I would pass this along to help you locate someone
that could help you. I know in our area that NAPA handles a lot of work for
the farmers and if you have a NAPA dealer in your area and if they cannot
due this kind of work, they should know of someone who can. Hope this helps
some.

Hi, Thanks for all the replies about fixing my  IHC Famous cylinder. All of
the solutions involved boring the cylinder The sleeve is $40.00 plus freight
[$8-9.00] so that's the way that I'll probably use. All that I have to do is
find some one with a boring mill. All the automotive guys passed because of
the set up and depth [11"]. Thanks again, both on and off list responses.
