Kerry,
Very nice effort and sure to become a resource for all interested in Oz
engines. Your work on the Cooper history is outstanding.
A couple of questions:
CT Deutscher & Sons shows the Triumph line and the _GEM line_.
Chas Walker shows the _Star line_
As I recall the Star and GEM are the same engine. What is the history of
Deutscher and Chas Walker? Both were in Ballarat, Vic.
The Horwood & Bagshaw engine....is this the same company as Bagshaw &
Sons of Adelaide, SA? Bagshaw & Sons manufactured that beautifully
restored wine pump that was at the Narracoorte ralley.
As I looked thru all the pictures on your site it was amazing the number
of these engines I had seen. Not just the same makes, but the exact
engines. We covered a lot of ground and saw a LOT of engines in 2 weeks
last March!
Once again thank you for this excellent contribution to the hobby.
