Foundry Update:

I test ran the induction furnace last week with good results. Everything
worked fine and I feel that it will be a good melter. Then I had to tear it
back apart to change out the two MG set bearings. When I spun the rotor by
hand I heard a faint tick tick tick. Being that the machine is 1965 vintage
and running at 3500 rpm plus the fact that I couldn't replace it made me
decide to change out the bearings. I odered the replacements last week and
they finally came in yesterday so in about a half hour I'll be down there
putting them in. So its getting real close!
