Hi Folks,

Paul Gray just returned the Google Patents favor by pointing out the
Google - Books beta version. CLEARLY, more lost weekends on the horizon
now. Oh, and for those of us who are technogeeks in addition to being
olde engine fans, you can download those PDF copies of the old books to
your PDA, Palm Pilot, or Pocket PC. Impress your friends at an engine
show or rally when the discussion gets really technical, just whip it out
and lay the facts on 'em. YEE HAW!! 8-))

THANKS Paul!!

See ya, Arnie

Subject: Google books- Christmas came twice!!

Try the google page (even more) with books and click on full text and
try entering Gardner Hiscox and then try Dugald Clerk; basically most
of their books come up and you can browse page by page. Even better-
click on advanced search and type in the words gas engine and enter pub
dates from 1870-1915- a whole mess of early texts come up in full
view!! Very cool! Looks like Christmas came twice- first for patents
and now for books- it is the beta release.

Enjoy-

Paul Gray
