Interesting! Imagine there aren't many old engines that have the 
flywheels secured this way. Sooo, how is the belt pulley held on? Can't 
see much in the photo. Is the small belt pulley attached to the spokes? 
Or is it slipped over a smaller unthreaded portion of the crankshaft? 
Sounds like something to be careful with/could bend easily.
Have you learned where the Caille was made yet?
