[SEL] RE: John Hammink

Such sad news! I had the very great privilege to correspond with John a 
couple of times a few years back but was never fortunate enough to be able 
to meet him personally.

As we all know, John was a truly great supporter of the list and a 
veritable wealth of information, which he was unfailing willing to share - 
and always with a wry sense of humour!

And the tragic circumstances of his passing remind us all that life is a 
precious gift so easily lost.

Memories make our loved ones live in our hearts for ever. I hope that his 
family can gain some measure of support from the wishes of the list.
