Hi Tom, I was showing the picture in the Pub last night & a friend of mine said his young
son had spotted the ladders & was fascinated. I gave him the picture.
This evening I rang the steeplejack & told him of the lads interest & asked when they would 
be up the ladders again.
He said they were waiting for a government grant & it would be about Easter before they finished the job.
He said the ladders were held in place by pins they drove into the bricks & they would remove them when 
the job was finished.
I asked him was he brave or stupid to do that job  & he said "Probably Both" & started laughing.
