Is the small one a model IA diesel engine and the large one a model ID?
Those engines are listed in the 1939 National Supply catalog without
generators. With generators they appear to become models GA-2 and
GA-8.

Subject: [SEL] 'Superior' diesel engines

Picked up some Navy manuals a while back on the 'Superior' engine and
genny sets. One is a large lump, probably more than anyone would want
to drag around, but the other was a nice looking twin cylinder with
Delco 10kW 120V 83A dynamo..

Size is 183 cu ins, bhp 16.3 @ 1200rpm, weight is a bit heavy at
2200lbs dry for the engine and 530lbs for the dynamo.

Does anyone know if any of these are in preservation at all?

The large set is an 8 cylinder 1330cu in diesel, 152bhp @ 1200rpm,
with 100kW Delco 3-phase alternator.

Manufactured by the National Supply Co, Springfield, Ohio.
