Yes, cheap is the word from China.  I recently bought a 3/4 pipe floor flange 
from the local Lowes, and after getting it home and threading a pipe into it, 
it looked like the "Leaning tower of Pisa".  Back to Lowes and had to go thru 
1/2 dozen before finding one that was threaded straght!  So much for cheap 
China junk!
