You betcha Peter..That's why I would like to use the 24vdc regulator and get 
the output down to a somewhat safe voltage.  250VDC is a very undesirable 
and unworkable voltage for me anyway.

  But you might watch the western horizon for some bizarre "northern light" 
display.
