[SEL] O.T. Ignition switch.

Do any of the list members have any expertise in ignition switch removal ? My daughter has a 1989 Mazda p/u B2200 that wont let the key turn. It appears that something has jamed it up in the steering lock part. I pulled the column covers off tonight and took the electric switch off the back end of the switch but can't figure out how to take out the internal patrs. Looks like it has been riveted to the upper half where it goes around the steering column. Any help woud sure be appreciated.
