Jim,

I have a picture of a 1 3/4HP (1911) Dairy Maid engine (aircooled) posted on my website, go to

http://www.oldengine.org/members/siefker/shows/portland-03/dairymaid1&3quarterhp1911.jpg

I took this photograph at the Portland 2003 Show. I don't have any other information.

Maybe this will be of some assistance/interest.

Going on the premise that this Dairy Maid was sold by Montgomery Wards, Who
manufactured engines for MW,? Stickney and Jacobson are two. There were
probably others. Waterloo is mentioned in Wendel's BYB as a possible
candidate. I'm hoping some one has a picture of one somewhere with a known
history. Thanks ,Jimmy O'
