I copied that message about Mike to him and got a reply off-List. 
Here's an excerpt:

Hi John, I'm still here. I just got in another load of the GM-90 series
Listeroids.  I've sold a bunch of them but I still have 37 left. I don't
deal with the "African Market" engines, sandboxes are for the kiddies 
and
the kittys. The GM-90 is an improved model with true oil pressure to the
rod, not splash. It also has the counterweighted crank, a water pump,
cylinder liner, and tapered roller bearings.
