Hi all,

Once all of you made my day better, it went uphill from there. The 
oldest granddaughter stopped by tonight with one of her friends. My wife 
and I share the living room space with our nicknacks. One of mine is a 
model of a Ford 427 SOCH engine. The granddaughters friend noticed it, 
looked at it, and said it was cute. Cute is a womens way of expressing 
impressed. I have learned that.

Next thing we know we are talking cars and hot rods and then I am 
showing car show pictures to her. 69 was the year they changed the 
Chevelle body and she knew that.

One thing leads to another and we ended up in the garage and lit the 
Maytag. Smiles all around and perhaps a new member of this strange group 
that plays with old iron. Life is good again.
