Ray.........that would no doubt be ''Virgin olive oil''. I have discovered
that the Sulphur content in cutting oil produces metallic oxides, a metallic
film instead of fluid film lubrication. Mineral oils do contain some natural
sulphur they have no value in cutting oils.. The two ways of adding sulphur
are to ''cook '' it in ,bonded with a fatty oil such as lard or sperm oil.
The second is done by adding the sulphur to a mineral oil by the application
of heat.
All sounds like a lot of work ..............don't know what the recipe for
Reflexa is but it smells of Sulphur .
