Yes, it is a thrill when an old pile rusty metal comes back to  life.  This 
engine starts quickly just as the operator's manual describes  -- hold the 
choke down for two revolutions, release the choke, continue to crank  (usually two 
revoutions) until engine starts.  This engine starts very  slowly and it 
seems it takes a little time for it to come up to speed.  It  operates smoothly.
