Paul,

Here is a picture of a wooden bulldozer and truck I made for my son 25 years 
ago.  Bulldozer for one year and the truck the next, both for Xmas.  The dozer 
I had seen in a magazine and modified to suit, and the truck was own design.  
Probably should have used wood for the wheels, but plastic was easy to come 
by.  Wheels (hidden) also under the dozer.  They were fun projects.
