[SEL] Speed limiter

Hi Steve;
     I picked up a very small one of these a few years ago mounted on a
lineshaft,
complete with hangers. It's a little larger than a go-kart clutch, and the
shaft it is
on is light, only about 3/4" diameter. It is marked "Sta-Rite". I asked
around and
on this list, the general consensus is that it was part of a cream separator
rig and
was there to keep the separator at a rated speed below that of the engine. I
don't
have any pictures, but the thing had me scratching my head for a while, too.
