	Very sad news is that Doug Prescott passed away last night. Some of you
may have known him. 

	I only met him twice and he was a wealth of information in the old engine
game and was credited with starting the restoration movement in our part of
the world. I did not know him well but understand that he lectured at a
local university many years ago on engines. He was well thought of by all
engine men in our part of the world.

	I spoke to him at a show about 2 months ago and he praised the restoration
I did on my Wolseley and promised to visit myself and Neville Botha in the
near future - saying that someone from the Anson Museum was coming out here
soon and that he just had to bring him around to my place to see the
engine. This meant so much to me coming from someone like him.

	He will be missed.
